What do you think?

SS house is on Liberty Street?

Abernathy Farms is in Old Calf Pasture?

Anyone in these forums live near there? Do you know where Vault 111 is?

(perhaps I have been playing Fallout too long). :)

Well... If you actually cross the Old North Bridge, the Minuteman Monument is on the wrong side of the river. Then the area where Sanctuary Hills sits is in the Minuteman national Historic Park. I think the house must sit right near (or just South of) the park's main building in order to be as close to the river as it is, and that would mean it's not on Liberty Street... but it seems that building has a Liberty Street address, so I'd guess the answer is yes and no.

I see what you mean...

I was thinking where Lowell Rd crossed the river as being the bridge between RR and Sanctuary Hills. Then the turn off of Lowell onto Liberty would be the entrance to Sanctuary Hills.

You are suggesting further to the east at the Old North Bridge. Correct?

In my mind I was imagining the walk from SH to RR and then into Concord. It seemed like Lowell Rd made more sense than Monument Street.

edit: I think the Old North bridge and the monument near it must be the inspiration for the bridge in the game, though. Is this already well understood? Maybe I am slow to the party?!

Yes, that's correct. I think that scaling caused some blurring of geography which is why I said yes and no. The roads and such only vaguely match, and Liberty STreet does not end in a cul de sac, so you're left looking mainly at historic locations like the bridge itself and the monument for orientation. It's unfortunate that the monument is on the wrong side of the river, but after all, it is an alternate universe. :)

There's a certain in-game logic to Sanctuary Hills being located on the real-life Minuteman Historic Park as well. Given that pre-apocalypse America was a hyped up version of 1950's post-war consumer culture, of course they'd drop cheap pre-fab houses on the field of the first battle of the Revolutionary War. Progress!
