i swear the guy said the game would be coming out for the ios and android systems. is that not the case?

Todd Howard said the tie-in app that will be released with the game will be available for iOS and Android.
Fallout Shelter is currently iOS only, but news on an Android version will be coming "soon" according to Pete Hines' twitter.

An Android version was hinted at on Twitter, though I suspect it will be a while before it is available, exclusivity deals and all that.
