I would destroy your rooms and just eat it as soon as possible. I had maybe 20 or so Dwellers and a heck of a time keeping things going. However, I just svcked it up and destroyed the rooms. Now I have a layout that should work for me. What happened was that I had 5,000 caps and I used them all on destroying and building rooms. Then as I got things balanced then I kept getting caps from the Dwellers leveling and when I collected the resources from the rooms. Now I have about 5,000 caps again. Although I think moving or replacing rooms is a good idea and I'm all for it, it just doesn't make sense even in real life. What if you move a room and open up an area between rooms were there is no adjacent room and no no elevator. From a programming standpoint there is no accounting for everything users would do. You could be in the middle of moving things around there would be radroach infestation or a fire. Some pregnant woman or a child would be stuck in the room and nowhere for them to run, the game might just crash at that point. Then loading the save game could fail. It's a good idea but those are some reasons off the top of my head that it's just not a good idea and I'm sure there are probably many other good reason to not allow this.
