My vault wont stay up for more than 30 seconds and whatever I do in those 30 seconds is nulled when the game crashes. Even if I do one minor thing and try to exit via the 'Main Menu' option, it just crashes when it tries to get to the main menu. Next time it loads from the last save.

160 man vault, almost all full SPECIAL, I've put a lot of time in and spent $20 on lunchboxes, and its completely unplayable. Contacted support and after replying to 2-3 form (automated?) emails I was told to just post the issue here. I sign up for an account here and it tells me I dont have permission to post (or even view) the support forums.

I tried a backup/copy files/restore method using iBackupBot from a thread on Reddit, and that didnt work either.

I have the same problem. Anybody can help?

I assume you've tried resetting your phone and making sure other applications are closed when playing?

Yes. Many hard resets. No other apps running. I have even copied the vault save info off the device, deleted the app, re-installed the app, and re-applied the vault save. Same effect.

After 4.5 weeks of hard work, 190 full MAX STAT dwellers, $87 investment, my vault is broken (having a hard time not to type this whole message in caps)! I too run this on an iphone 5s. This game has slowed in the past 2 weeks but had been playable. Playable that is until last night when I went to LOAD my vault and now crashes. I have tried over 100 times now (yes I counted) with every single combination of trying to get this to load but alas FAILED CRASH EVERY TIME!!!

Let me tell you BETHESDA, I have preordered all of your games including the PIPBOY EDITION of FO4 so this complaint comes from a loyal fan, a loyal fan who hopes to have his $87 dollars refunded or even reinstalled into another vault. I'll start from scratch, I love the game, but not until I get a refund because if no refund is offered, I will look into legal matters at this point. But let's not take it there. Be the company that shows class and stays true to your code of honest and integrity. Pleas step up and patch this mess and refund back my money because I will give it right back to you guys in another vault (I rolled with the punches with you guys on FO3 but I never lost money here just some time, and you guys were fair and honest with me then). Please be fair and honest now.

Exact same problem here. iPhone 5S, happened under he new iOS and the last one. Currently I'm out 40 bucks and a lot of time, they better be on top of this pretty rapidly.

Exact problem here, really hope they get around to fixing this. Would svck to lose my vault to something like this.

I've the same problem, running the game on an iPad. Updated to the latest iOS after the problem started but the game still keeps crashing. Hoping for a quick fix from Bethesda!

I've had the same problem since 14 August. It started before I'd even updated the app. I'd hoped the update would fix the issue, but alas, no luck. I'm running on an iPhone 5 with a fully updated iOS and Fallout: Shelter app.

It's Android too and old saves fail too so one save corrupted is not it but the game is broken bad


If all saves get corrupted at once poor design to say the least

I have 2 vaults and only my highest progress vault was "corrupted". Other vault still works.

I'm on an ipad air, having the same problem.

So... is there some level of support over here? I was sent here by support via email as though this was the next step to getting this fixed. So far it seems like just people complaining about bugs without any real resolution happening.

I have my save data extracted if anyone at Bethesda wants to look at it. I can email it to you as its less than 1mb.

Anybody? I just want it to work...

Unfortunately, you'll not hear from Bethesda hear which is why I continue to let people know all over these forums to get a refund and don't put anymore money into this BROKEN game. Had Bethesda had the class to just respond to us within even 3 days of this wave of reporting, I would have given them the total benefit of the doubt but after 8 days of nothing...unacceptable behavior.
