After reaching 60 people in a vault you unlock the ability to construct Nuclear Reactor (dwellers with Strength).



Is there really any difference between a Nuclear Reactor and Power Generator besides cost of building?

I think it supplies more energy than the power generator. I'm not quite at 60 people yet though so I'm not 100% on that.

When you go to upgrade the room, before you do it will tell you what the current production level is and what it will be. You don't have to upgrade it but that is how you could look to see the difference.

The nuclear reactor is 1200, 1500, 1800 for three builds which results in 40 power. Upgrade it for 6k for 48 power and then again for 18k for 56.

Its basically just a way to conserve some space by spending alot more caps.. giving you a little more power so instead of building more power plants you can just build a nuke plant instead.
