FIX THE LOAD CRASH - Bethesda's best interest

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 8:42 am

It would seem that it would only be in Bethesda's best interest to get this horrible loading bug squashed since now thousands are receiving refunds. No patch as of present.

It would also seem best for them to just respond once to all of their fans frustrated and upset with them because of the loss of time/money/happiness.

Response so far....(crickets).

I think once. To talk about patch notes. But mainly it's been their Community Lead, who very occasionally says something.

From what I understand, the loading part isn't whats bugged, but the saving on exit from app leaving the save data corrupt.

So two things need fixing

A) if save data is corrupt prevent them from being loaded (some kind save checksum?)

B) Continuous saving of progress should also check for corruption, so that if we exit the game by home button, or the device runs out of juice doesn't leave us with bugged savedata.

Preferably B ahead of A, since purchases made in a game will be lost if B isn't implemented.

Perhaps Bethesda is hiring.... Wonder where to mail my resumé....
