Performance at mid to late game

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 6:44 am

I've noticed that now I have 15~ rooms and 40~ dwellers, while I'm zoomed in the frame rate drops considerably compared to when I'm fully zoomed out. I would guess it has something to do with the rooms becoming 3D when not fully zoomed out. The lag is exacerbated by raiders or failed room rushes as well.

I suggest adding an option to turn the 3D transition off or at least some minor graphical setting to ease the issue.

I'm playing on an LG Nexus 5. Anyone else suffering with this problem on other devices?

If it's slow now, wait 'til you get to 130 dwellers, and 25 rooms... I have no problem with speed, but my game crashes every time I try to play that large vault (and I'm playing on an Nvidia Shield, which is a high end gaming tablet).

Yeah I could very well live without that 3D-effect that only blocks my view to dwellers who are behind walls until I focus on that room and slows the game down into a crawl etc. To me it's useless gimmick that only consumes CPU and RAM needlessly. Please add option to turn it off!

THIS

I'm also playing on Nexus 5 on 5.1.1

The lag gets so bad that I am constantly misclicking stuff, sending dwellers into other rooms by accident
