FO Shelter crashes on launch : Fallout 4

Running IOS 8.3.x Iphone 6 .... had 170+ dwellers a few rares and some pretty decent gear for my home bodies(guards) and wasteland explorers ... today randomly started to crash within a few seconds of launching , rebooted (turned on and off the phone) and also restoring from back up which did not help as I figure because it was a backup after the issue began .... I have spend a bit of real $ on Mr Handy's and lunchboxes and really hope there is a way to fix this issue ... any help would be greatly appreciated :smile:

Many players have encountered this problem. No one from Bethesda has responded to anyone. Your best bet is to get a refund.

I just started experiencing the same issue. Was happily sending dwellers into the wasteland and then the game crashed on me. Can't turn it on again. Always crashes on the loading screen. It would be a real shame if all the time and some bucks that I invested in the game would be lost.

Your money isn't lost, just request a refund. You are well within your rights to a refund, game is broken and the developers will not acknowledge or respond to the problem.

Definitely happening to me op on iPhone 5C, running latest iOS. It hurts. It hurts me real deep. The only solution I found didn't work.

Did you guys try http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1534650-how-to-retrieve-your-savegame-if-you-got-the-permanent-crash/? I tried it yesterday with my iPad and for me it works like a charm, but I'm curious to see if it works with others too.

I have the same problem on my iPad 3 with the latest iOS. My vault got up to 199 dwellers when it decided it wouldn't work anymore. This really svcks.

Starting today, my main Vault is crashing too.

Playing since it came out.

Near 900k caps.

120ish dwellers.

iPad 3rd Gen

iOS 8.4.1

If I select my main vault... it seems to try and load... and then just crashes to the game icon.

I can load another vault and that one seems fine.

Rebooted the iPad, and tried to get back into my main vault.

No joy.

It's happened to me too now.

Been playing from the start on iOS so I have a 150 pop vault with maxed out caps (999k) and silly high resources. When I load my save, it simulates offline play for a minute or two as per normal and then I hear the Ingame sounds - then it just drops to the home screen. In all my years of owning iOS hardware this is the first time I've had a game potentially lose a save.

Everything is legit too and I've tried numerous device reboot methods/resets to no avail. Money and a LOT of time gone down the drain because a seemingly simple thing like Cloud Saves haven't been used. Feel deeply saddened.

Similar problem 194 dwellers 999,999 caps for last three days been unable to load vault get that funny countdown noise but instead of vault appearing game just drops me out of the app. Don't want to start over as have been playing for months and invested in lunch boxes and Mr handys. Developers support department just directed me here telling me to search for my own solution ( great impersonal customer service by the way!). So has anyone got any suggestions or can a moderator escalate for me?

Same problem here. 199 dwellers with one dweller waiting. 40~ maxxed dwellers out in the Wasteland and a decent amount of dwellers with full SPECIAL and/or near level 50. 999,999 in caps. I try and load my main vault, it loads for awhile then stops at one of the hints, goes black and takes me back to my homescreen

iPhone 5 running iOS 8.4.1.

Moderators have any solutions? If I delete I lose all my progress and the money I put into it. I want to get a refund if this issue can't be resolved.

iOS 8.4.1 Ipad mini

Im having the same problem. I just start playing a week ago and didn't notice any problem. Gave some money away for lunchboxes. Now the game has become unplayable!

If there is no solution I want a refund. Does anyone know to ask for a refund?

Mine just crashed too ... 20 Mr Handy , lotsa lunch boxes & 2 months worth of hardwork ! T-T
