I encountered a curious thing, and wonder if anyone else has.


Leaving my phone on, to monitor my vault, while watching a video. My phone heated up, and the app threw a program error. I'd just like to point out, that my phone never heated up before, while I left an app running.


I quickly stopped the app, turned off my phone, waited 60 seconds, and turned it back on. I was disappointed to discover, that I lost mine whole game progress.


I'm going to stop for a bit, and talk with ITunes to see if they would be kind enough to refund the transactions I lost.


So, has anyone gone through a similar encounter? If so, please share. Thank you.

I deleted my app after trying multiple things to get out of frozen mode, came back and my vault was gone. I've never had an app where it lost all save progress

Reading through these forums, "lost progress" seems to be a running theme.


I admire the idea of running this app separately from the Internet, but I'm starting to wonder if an Internet contact would solve most of these types of errors.
