I have the same problem, i have about 40 dwelers out, most of them in line infront of vault, but when i try to collect from any, or send any back home, game freezes, interface dissapears. SOMEONE SAVE MY DWELERS! they are out dying and i cant do anything about it.

e: i found temporary solution. Wait for raider attack and than try to click on some dweler in wastelands in your dweler list. Thats should actually open the list. You need to wait for attack to end and than you can collect from them all.

Tried the suggested workaround and it didn't work for me. The list of dwellers comes up but the game freezes after I tap on someone who's in Waiting mode.

I didn't get an error message but I am unable to bring in dwellers that are waiting at the vault entrance. One vault has too many explorers out but another vault has only one explorer waiting and it still freezes. The game freezes so I can't scroll to other parts of the vault or do anything at all. The dwellers are still walking around inside the rooms, so the freeze out didn't hurt them

have a related problem, only have 1 dweller waiting, but menu disapears when I click on him. game still continues, but I am unable to interact with it. re-starting my Ipad 2 air gets me the menu back, but the same thing happens again if I click the waiting dweller.

Ptut, same here. No error message and the dwellers are still going about their business, it's just jerky and my interactions didn't seem to register. It's clear the processor is really working hard when it gets in this mode. I let it sit like this for about 5 minutes last night hoping it was just taking a long time... no dice. Hey Bethesda, maybe some lazy loading on those exploration logs instead of trying to build the whole explorer view model at once?

you'll have to wait at least 2 months for next update, and see if bethesda is interested in fixing bugs.

Minvader, honestly at this point I kind want them to focus on stabilizing Fallout 4, but a hotfix to rollback whatever the hell they did to cause this would be really nice.

A rollback would be nice, I was able to play just fine up until this update, now it just crashes shortly after loading the vault.

RossWright, we seemed to have the same issue. I found a way around it, hooray! I opened my dweller list and sorted by job. Naturally, I had a dead explorer, so I clicked on that dweller and the explorer window opened. I revived the dead explorer and then scrolled through the other explorers using the left/right arrows and was able to collect from all of the ones that were waiting. They entered the vault and now I seem to be home free. I hope it works for you too. If I haven't explained it well enough, please let me know.
