Hi,

I've been playing Android's fallout shelter even with the loads of crashes and corrupted save files it currently offers.

I've also been backing up my Save files to my computer in case it runs to 0 again. (lost a couple of days worth before and was really sad with this).


Anyways now It seems fallout shelter no longer stores the save in the directory it used to (/Android/data/com.gamesas.falloutshelter) It no longer exists, however it does save new vaults.


I currently cannot restore my old game which I noticed is from yesterday morning.

Any suggestions? Has the location been set to a private directory to avoid cheating?

If the saves are no longer publicly available please let us know what is a possible deadline for the corrupt saves because that's just terrible.

I hope I can play again at some point, rather bummed out right now waiting for 10th of November.

Because you need to go to:

/storage/sdcard/android/data/com.gamesas.falloutshelter/files/

You missed a folder (/files)

I don't have the sdcard so it's in my root.

But the com.gamesas.falloutshelter folder is not even there anymore, It was not updated since 30 hours ago, I removed the folder myself but the game still saves but not where I can find it. I also uninstalled and started a new game.

Edit - It seems it is actually where you said, I just can't see it from Windows Anymore.

What do you mean with "from Windows"?

Through USB, that used to work. Now I'm using a file manager on my phone to make backups instead.
