Hello. First post. I want to play this game, it looks interesting, but there are no decent instructions anywhere. I watch videos, read on-line guides, and they don't give enough detail to understand the basics of the game. How to do the most basic things like equip a dweller with a weapon (it says to do it, but it never says how). A million other things need explaining. Did the creators of this game expect people to magically understand how to play? Needless to say, this all very frustrating - I can't stop screaming at my iphone, and my wife is getting upset.

If anyone could please point me to a source of help, for a new player that is completely lost, due to a criminal lack of instructions in this game, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Buckeye, in case you haven't seen it, check out VDSG (Vault Dweller's Survival Guide). Tap the monitor-looking icon in the lower right of your screen. A column of icons will come up. Tap the wallet-looking icon. That will bring you to the Survival Guide. Tap the Help tab at the top. That will give you a pretty good idea on how everything works.

To answer your specific question about how to equip a dweller, tap on a dweller and a window with their picture, name, stats, etc. comes up. Tapping on the outfit or weapon picture and the bottom of that will bring up a second window with the outfits or weapons in your inventory. Tap on the one you want to assign to the dweller. Note at some outfits are gender specific.

If you have no outfits or weapons, you can get from lunch boxes or by sending a dweller out of the vault to explore.
