iOS iPad 4 Game Crashes

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 8:04 pm

Dear Bethesda Support,

I have been playing Fallout Shelter for a little while, currently I have 157 dwellers and Vault with 15 levels.

This evening, when I have turned on the game again, I cannot play even one minute - the game suddenly crashes.

To describe what is going on:

1. I have 157 dwellers and after start, 3 dwellers are born (sometimes two manage to be born).

2. All rooms are ready to pick up resources.

3. I have 15 Mr. Handy's in my Vault collecting resources automatically.

4. When I start the game again, the game starts from the point before any dwellers are born.

This morning, I was able to play without any issues, I even bought additional 5x Mr. Handy (in a pack), but this evening, the game is unplayable.

As this has been suggested as the official support, I would like to request a help regarding this issue - perhaps someone has encountered the same.

I am playing on iOS iPad 4, game is up-to-date.

iOS: 9.1

Fallout Shelter: 1.2.1

Updated automatically via App Store.

I have not tried to reinstall the game as I do not want to lose my current saved games on my device.

I have bought all together 15 Mr Handy's (3x 5 pack). Hope this issue can be solved (which I would prefer), otherwise I will have to claim my money back as the game is unplayable.

Thank you.

Same issue for me.

Things were fine during the day today, now this evening it crashes about 10 seconds after it finishes loading.

One odd thing about the game play last night and this morning. I have a 3 wide, maxed out classroom that has 6 people who are fairly advanced (I7-I9). When that room was being attacked by radroaches, some of my dwellers, even Mr. Handy, were drifting through the floor and none of their life bars were visible.

I am running on an iPad Air 1 with 64 gb ram. I've rebooted twice, also saved to the cloud, deleted and reinstalled the game and then pulled my game back down from the cloud. Nothing is any different. 155 dwellers, 15 lunch boxes and 2 Mr. Handy's purchased.

This worked for me too. At first, I didn't have another vault saved. After I quickly added one, I was able to play in the "troubled" vault for about a minute instead of 10 seconds.

I went back and played the second one again for about 10 minutes. Since then, all has been good. Thanks so much!
