Just started playing this game yesterday on my iPad mini.

Early in the game when you have a small amount of dwellers, the game seems to operate fine. Once I get past 20 dwellers the game becomes unstable and starts to crash more frequently. Once I get up to around 24 dwellers, I can't open that vault anymore.

Once that happened, I wondered if the vault became corrupt somehow. So I created a new vault and the same thing happened again. The less dwellers, the more stable the game. Once I get past 20 dwellers the game crashes constantly. When I get to around 25 dwellers, I can no longer play the vault. It just crashes when you try to open it.

I'm really bummed as I enjoyed the game. I also purchased $25 in vault lunch boxes between my two vaults. If I can't play the game, I wouldn't mind getting a refund.

I'd prefer a fix.

If it's the original iPad mini, then it's a problem.


The app is not officially supported on that device, as far as I know due to memory limitations mainly.

Same thing happening to me on iPad mini!! So frustrating, love the game but can't play! I would spend money but it would just go down the drain on lunch boxes!


I had one vault up to 31 dwellers, crashed never opened again. Someone in the wasteland, I'm sure he's dead now, 3 days later. Started second vault started crashing around 20 dwellers and if I tapped on objectives menu. Now second vault won't open again! Up to 30 dwellers on it too.


PLEASE fix bug in update!! I know this is the first version, bugs will happen. Going to try on my iPhone now. Fingers crossed!

It's the same with me almost some how I made it to lvl 31 tho it really get on my nerves

The iPad Mini Gen 1 is not a supported device. I started playing it on my iPad Gen 3 device and no more crashing.

I wish the Apple app store would prevent you from getting the app on a non-supported device. It wouldn't be to big of a deal if I didn't spend $20 in in-app purchases that I can't use on my iPad mini. :-/
