The 1.3 update has rendered this game unplayable for me because either my save doesn't load at all or the game crashes within 10secs of my save actually loading . Here's the requested info:

• What phone/tablet model are you using?: iPad 2 - 64gb model, Wi-Fi only


• What OS are you currently running (including version #): iOS 9.2


• Did you delete the game and reinstall it, or just update over the old build?: I installed the update over the existing install then tried reinstalling from scratch when the crashing wouldn't stop.


• If you updated, did you manually update it, or allow the store to auto-update it?: I manually updated it.

I've tried everything from playing entirely offline with the internet and Game Center disabled, through to a full factory reset of my iPad with zero success . I can't even start a new Vault because the game crashes within 10secs of starting the new world. Each update that's been released for this has made the game more and more unstable on the iPad 2 to the point where it's now literally unplayable. The very first Vault I ever created (which was the day this game came out) had to be deleted because the save wouldn't load due to an earlier update that borked it so I started another one and the same thing happened once the Vault got beyond a certain size, I didn't delete that one because I was attached to it so I started another one and that's now been corrupted as well thanks to this new Update and restoring a backup didn't help .

I love this game to bits but the incessant freezing has killed any enjoyment of it that I had left.

Normally I don't bump old posts, especially my own but the lack of interest or even recognition of this problem is mind boggling and completely unacceptable . I love the games that Bethesda and their affiliates make but the ongoing problems with Fallout Shelter makes me wonder just how much testing these games go through before being released since the issues most people are having, should have been blindingly obvious during even a brief period of testing .

I am a new player and also using an iPad 2. The game freezes often and then minimizes to the home screen.

Tell me about it! My game is in stasis right now thanks to the crippling crashing problems so I can't progress, nor can I start a new game because it just freezes up about 10secs after entering the Vault in either situation .

I'm experiencing exactly the same issue here. Getting very close to deleting the bloody game from my device and demanding a full refund from Bethesda.
