I reached the game limit of 999,999 caps.

From a lunchbox, I got two 500 caps cards, putting me at 1,000,999 caps.

The game crashed shortly thereafter, and now I cannot get back into that vault. It crashes immediately.

On the screen briefly before the crash, the cap symbol on the top corner is highlighted, as if I were getting more caps from a room resource collection from a Mr. Handy.

I have the latest versions of Fallout Shelter and iOS.
