There are 90 outfits and some of them are erroneously gender restricted.


I am NOT talking about wanting my male vault dwellers to be able to play crossdeesser in a Movie Fan dress. I am referring to a number of outfits which i believe are gender restricted by mistake, or plain stupid sixism. For example:


1. SURGEON OUTFIT can only be worn by women. Why? it is only a retexture of the wasteland medic outfit that can be worn by both genders. Men can be doctors too, you know.


2. SOLDIER UNIFORM can only be worn by women. Why? It is only a retexture of the military fatigues that can be worn by both genders. Men can be soldiers too, you know.


3. ENGINEER OUTFIT can only be worn by women. Why? It is only a retexture of the Battle Armor that can be worn by both genders. Men can be engineers too, you know.


Im sure there more but i have only discovered 40/90 outfits. These should be reviewed.

I agree with this assessment. It should be made much clearer which clothes are gendered, and how they are gendered. For example, when I have a stack of the "same" outfit in my inventory, it is frustrating to find that some of those items are male-only and some are female-only. Perhaps a small male or female icon in the thumbnail for the outfits? Though it does seem strange that outfits like Power Armor can be used with both genders, with different illustrations, but the Movie Fan and Horror Fan outfits are gendered.
