Leveling Up Suggestion

So, the game offers rooms to build that are for "housing", "training", and "working". Each of these rooms has a "SPECIAL" stat tied to it that is either supposed to level up or utilize that specific stat of a dweller and allow them to work and level up.


I've noticed that, out of all the "working" rooms that the Radio Station (Charisma) and the Storage Room (Endurance) the dwellers do not level up. Can this be changed? If they are "working" they should be able to level up, right?

I've had charisma dwellers sitting in the Radio Room, and endurance dwellers working in the storage room, and they are all sitting at levels 2-5, and making no progress.

Meanwhile, all the other "working" rooms have dwellers at level 20-40.


And yes, I am aware that dwellers do not level up with the Living Quarters (Charisma), but dwellers are not "working" in "housing" unless they are making babies. ;)

I'm not expecting "housing" rooms to level up dwellers, unless having them stand around making small talk or making babies levels up their charisma slowly, but that just seems monotonous.

I've been wondering if the reason dwellers working in Radio Studios don't level up is related to how slowly the room "works". Where all the resource rooms do their thing several times a day, the radio studio might be successful once every 24 hours or so. I have dwellers in my radio stupid who have xp, but not very much. Perhaps the xp for radio studios needs to be bumped (a hundredfold or so)?

Yeah, would be nice to bump up the Radio Room exp gain...if there is any going on. I dont think exp should be based on "gathering" amounts. It should be based on time spent working. Maybe they should add something else we could gain from the radio room and even the storage room?


Maybe add a gain of additional caps? Like the radio room has a chance to recruit a dweller, or you get additional caps kind of gather?


Storage room workers have an off chance to find caps while working in the storage rooms?


These are just a couple of ideas I'm stewing up. :)

Nope. I have 2x3 maxed radio stations staffed with all maxed charisma dwellers. I get new dwellers from them several times a day. So much so, that I've stopped breeding (currently at 170 dwellers).



Yet the radio workers are still all level 1. It's definitely a bug.

Yeah, since posting none of my Radio Studio workers have gained anything XP-wise either. So much for that theory.
