Say I stop playing for a few days or maybe longer like a week, 2 weeks, a month? Will my dwellers slowly starve or dry out or get irradiated into oblivion? Or is there a way to avoid this while long time afk? Anyone know?

They will break free from their shackles and form their own primitive society, eventually they grow tired of their confinements and plan a daring escape. Your phone will be assimilated into the collective and the original inhabitants of the vault will spread like tidal waves, crushing everything in their wake until human society as we know it is history.

Great thx. Now for a constructive reply plz. I did buy a few lunchboxes and would feel pretty screwed if my vault would die out on me while I'm away.

After logging out of the game your vault will consume resource for a little bit but then it will compleatly shut down until you log back in. It's all good. Put your phone away and go on vacation or whatever. Your dwellers will still be alive when you get back.

The only way you would run Into an issue is if you keep doing constant quick checks and don't fill your storage enough to compensate for the portion of resources that are used after you log out.

Make sure you swipe the app and close it out. Allowing it to run in background is about the same as doing nothing but just watching the screen.
