Dwellers moving through floors

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 4:10 pm

I'm experiencing a bug that seems to be new to 1.0.3.

In my shelter, I have 3 Athletics Centres (2 squares each) on 3 floors in a row. All the dwellers assigned to these three rooms show up primarily in one of the rooms, but they also move into the other rooms by floating as if on an invisible elevator through the floors. It makes it pretty hard to tell how many dwellers are assigned to each room and to assign new people.

I'm using an iPad A1458

I believe I'm also having this issue on the iPhone 6, I have dwellers moving from the diner on the top floor and going what appears to be an invisible stairway down 5 floors then getting in the elevator and going to another floor from there

here's a few links to pictures of this.

They might be hard to spot, but they're passing through the water purifier room at the time I took the pictures

I am also having this problem and my dwellers are attached to athletic rooms as well. I have deleted the rooms, restarted the game, paid caps for the rooms again and they still do not attached to the room properly they move through the floors instead.

Running on iPad mini 2 iOS8.4 and fallout shelter 1.0.3

I'm having the same issue, when I move my dwellers they just go diagonally upwards to the top floor, stop then just teleport to the room I assigned them to. Their work animations don't play either, they wander around the room and then again walk diagonally upwards through the ceiling and teleport back even when I haven't assigned them to a room. It seems to happen with every dweller if I change the room they work in. And sometimes they don't even walk to their room, they just teleport.

Also having this issue on my iPad after the new update. If I look at my dweller list, it shows them as "done" with their athletics training. Really annoying. Can't play the game til this is fixed.

Yep, all of the dwellers in my two square "Athletics Center" have taken to walking through the ceilings. They're not still, the way they would be in an elevator. Rather, they are "walking" in place but their bodies are vertically rather than horizontally.

I can move them into another room (which takes a minute because they keep walking up and down for a bit) but when I try to put them back in the Athletics Center, they go back to walking through the ceilings.

The dwellers, once moved to another room, behave normally.

Dwellers moved into this room for the first time also display this behavior.

All together, this seems to point to the room as being the issue.

I would post a screen shot but I'm not sure how.

I'm on an iPad Air running iOS 7.1.2.

I'm also having the same issue since this 1st update. I have a 2 square Athletics room on top of a 2 Square Storeroom with another 2 square Athletics room on top of that. Dwellers assigned to the bottom Athletics room float & moonwalk up through the ceiling, through the Storeoom & into the other Athletics room where there are already 4 dwellers assigned there. So at times you get 8 Dwellers all in a 2 square room.

I can re-assign the 'floating' dwellers back to the bottom room but it makes no difference. The only thing that stops them floating is to re-assign them to a third Athletics room I have.

I've had this happen once except they didn't get assigned to another room, it just got put on Coffee Break.

As far as I know, there is no way to put a dweller on a Coffee Break unless you make them go explore the wastelands and then bring them back.

I'll post again if I can recreate it.
