Ultra-Long Distance Exploring Scoreboard

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 6:41 pm

Alright, let's start a scoreboard for your longest distance dweller explorer. I expect Banco to be our champion based on what he's been posting on the boards. One entry per player. Put your longest amount of time down and I will keep it updated in this post.

List it like this

Your name -time exploring - dweller name - dweller level - Outfit - Weapon - SPECIAL attributes (this may be a guess since the game doesn't give you the ability to see actual numbers)

Let me know if your dweller left with more than 25 stims and rads and they will get an asterisk.

1. Garythepowers - 12 days 20 hours 36 minutes - Lucas Simms - LVL 50 - Fancy Formal Wear L5 - Fat Man 22-23 -

S5-P9-E8-C5-I5-A6-L9 (He is now returning home. He collected 59,049 caps and won't be back to the vault for a week) *

2.

3.

*Left the vault taking advantage of stimpack glitch

[Banco has managed an dweller exploring for 900+ days with the time glitch]

Have 10 + with max stat/ +7 luck etc exploring.... but who cares. Like hey, if that's what your into then great... but it does not increase your drop rates, or caps past a certain point. There's been some speculation that the drop rate increases very slightly over time, but it is only speculation. Most are still seeing massive amounts of garbage gear even on day 6 +. And with the 100 item cap, it matters even less.

Also I'm not bashing anyone, I just don't get the interest.

I get your question.(and I don't take it as bashing) My vault is solid. good happiness and efficiency, every room upgraded to max. All the basic rooms have been replaced with the advanced version of that room. So now I'm just playing with the dwellers. I'm looking for side quests. And this is a little game within in the game. That's it. One benefit to lots of explorer is no body in my vault is carrying a weapon that doesn't have at least 10 hit points. Rad roaches are not a problem in my vault.

so, if it's not your thing I totally get it. And based on response thus far, maybe I'm one of a very few that like the long distance aspect. Oh well.

Well, you are right but you are also wrong. The cap might be at 100 but the next dweller you send out will get really good loot, really good loot. I don't know if this is a bug or just a way to encourage long explorations.

This occurs on regular basis so it is not a fluke thing.

And your explorers reach the cap of 100 items and keep going days after that?

Doesn't changing the time on your device just make everything faile/die?

I don't know if anybody is still viewing this post, but if you are, I would like some help. I would like to know what the best time is for finding rare items in the wasteland. I've heard someone say that at around 2 days 10 hours you should start finding superior loot but I want to know if this is true. If you know the average time for finding rare or legendary loot, could you please tell me? Thanks.

Get a bit past three days and you should be maxing out on good loot. A lot of people suggest just letting them go until they hit the 100 item cap. That may be a good policy as well.. T

Whats the point of all this if your cheating to get these numbers? If you can double the stimpak, so what? If you can cheat and do 900 days, so what. Show me the amount of time your out without a cheat. I've been out about 5 days now. My char. started at level 1 and is now lvl 50. Pretty sure all my stats are at 10 or so. Wearing sturdy Wasteland Gear. Has a Hardened Missile Launcher. Still has 6 stimpaks left.

For some reason I think its cool to get a character to high stats at level one and then send them out. They get to lvl 50 in about 2 days. The 100 item limit gets hit to fast too. I'll let him go until she has zero stimpaks.. probably tomorrow.

Why do you care? the time glitch only saves you the time of waiting it doesnt help you cheat in any other sense. And I dont get why you get annoyed by this. The game is completely fnished after you reach 200 dwellers . There is nothing to do at all. So why not play around with the game? And yes I was out longer then 5 days with my dwellers without "cheating" this was like a month ago and about the time I started getting bored with the game. You will see.

Its the same here. Why do you care? It is a single player game and the way I play my game has nothing to do with your session. And you will see when you have reach the end of the game that you will either just stop playing or do something fun with it. Glhf.
