Lunchbox's

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 5:17 pm

I've purchased about 60 lunchboxes and got a few legendary items but not that many. The last few lunchboxes I have earnt through playing the game have yielded nothing but trash and 500 coins each time.

Major dissapoint.

Dwellers I am sending out are just bringing back countless amounts of trash also which I sell straight away.

Mostly I am getting rusty laser pistols and not much else.

I can accept that free lunchbox that was earned in the game tend to yield endless garbages. I don't expect much from free lunchbox.

But it is major disappintment that the purchased ($1 a pop) lunchbox also yields mostly same useless items like free ones.

Just raise the price of lunch box five fold ($5 a pop) and guarantee that it will yield genuine legendary gears and dewellers only. No useless legendary like 2-9 handgun will be in the $5 lunch box. Only 20+ weapons and excellent power armors and truely legendary dwellers like Sara Lyons.

After disappointed by endless garbages after garbages from purchased lunch box, now I stopped purchasing any more lunchbox. You lost a loyal paying customer.

Raise lunchbox price and guarantee its quality. Then, I am willing to pay even $10 a pop.

if you want good stuff make sure your explorers last past 3 hours and have maxed out luck....there are good drops )level 4 clothes and lots of >15 weapons) with maxed luck.

You never played this kinda game before? Standard practice I can assure you. I also don't see why paid for lunchboxes should yield better items than the free ones. Later in the game getting free lunchboxes will get much harder anyway. Although I bought 5 boxes to support the game, I think it's much more fun and rewarding collecting those items by playing the game. No use playing if you have everything already anyway.

agreed I bought lunchboxes first thing to support the game and haven′t bought any since. true that almost no legendary drops are found out in waste (i did get a rusty gauss rifle whcih is legendary no?) but I get lots of rares on each set of explorations...

Rusty gauss is also rare actually. Now that i have about 20 dweller permanently roaming the wasteland and their stats are near cap i got my first actual legendary outfit from the wastes. I'm expecting to find more once their stats are capped. But yea, obviously legendary items are very hard to get, which is fine by me.

I am not against some luck-based outcome in free lunchbox. Luck is part of this game. Free lunchbox should yield mostly gabage and good one rarely.

But lunchbox purchased with money should be different. If purchased lunchbox is same as free lunchbox, what is point of purchasing lunchbox with real money?

I am willing to buy the rare and good items, at the some given price, however expensive it may be. But I don't like to gamble when making purchase on such goodies with real money. Do you gamble when buying pizza or beer or shirt? Most people don't want to. If I wanted gamble, I would have played casino game, not FO:S.

TLDR: Reduce gambling factor in lunchbox purchased with real money.

I just got another free lunchbox today and it had the assault rifle infiltrator in it so can't grumble too much. The last 5 lunchboxes I purchased just had one legendary dweller in the whole lot, everything else was coins or trash.

It's pot luck what you get like collecting football panini stickers etc

Haven't paid for a single lunchbox, i earn them all. Last lunchbox i opened, the first card was 50 Water, the second card was 500 Caps, the third card was a Hardened Minigun (my best wep), and the fourth card was Star Paladin Cross. Then the game crashed, and i about had a heart attack. Luckily, the game had saved just after i had got them, would've been pissed if i had lost the Hardened Minigun and Star Paladin Cross to a crash.

I find this hard to believe since I (who am very new to the game) bought several lunchboxes and got some very good armour and rifles, one that does 21-64 I think? Plus the best armour in the game from a free lunchbox. It all depends on luck I guess?

I have Gary 23 and Gary 46 scouring the wastes both with 10 luck. They have brought me back A) Lots of caps B) A Hardened Minigun C) Power Armor D) Hardened Flamer and lots of 'stuff'.

And then are now both maxed at level 50 which is kind sad (I didnt realise that level 50 was the cap).
