i just realized that my endurance is down a few points. i dont have any diseases or anything in my inventory causing this. ive tried going to a chapel, that didnt work. ive tried using a restore endurance, that didnt work either.i even tried to fortify my endurance but its still damaged.

Remove every item you can from your inventory, then see if your Endurance is still red. You may have something like the Scales of Pitiless Justice causing this issue.
If you are on a PC this could be fixed by using the UOP options in your Misc Inventory to reset your Attributes.

Are you by any chance doing the Knights of the Nine (specifically, have you recently acquired the Gauntlets of the Crusader?) If so, you have Kellen's Curse of the Consumed, and you need to complete the Blessing of Talos part of the KOTN quest to remove it.

It's been a while, and I might be confusing Morrowind with Oblivion, but don't some creatures' attacks permanently jink attributes until you go to an altar and have it restore you from all afflictions?
