And actually, it loads amother vault I have with substantially less dwellers like 10 I think and it works no problem.

Game won't load, crashed on startup. Knives and forks appear, fade away like the main screen will load, then the game freezes without loading. Bummer, I've been playing for a 6 month now, and have about 160 dwellers. The cloud save is last October, and I don't want to load that game or start over. I have reinstalled the game on my Android, and I even tried BlueStacks on my computer. No luck all the way around.

Addition: The bug appeared in my second Vault as well. Molerats in storage department. I Sent a dweller in to fight them, but they allready spread. I fought them in another room, but the game crashed as soon as the fight was over.

Now I've got two Vaults that do not load any more.

Can we please have a fix? Its been six weeks now

This just happened to me and I was able to do the following workaround:


Go to sdcard/android/data/com.gamesas.falloutshelter/files using a file manager.

Find your vault number (1,2 or 3. We'll call this #) and rename the Vault#.sav file to Vault#.bk2. Then rename the Vault#.sav.bkp file to Vault#.sav.


This will revert your vault to a few seconds before the crash. Now load your vault and immediately open the objective window and cancel the molerat objective (x in the top left). The molerats will peacefully finish their business and leave your vault. Voila.

Has anyone tried this?? Did it work? I am not sure if I have this molerat objective but I believe I do. Mine crashes exactly like everyone has described here tho. I have 160 dwellers and real money sunk into it. I'm on a Samsung S3 and everything is up-to-date. I was able to start another vault just fine but I'm deleting the app if I can't have the vault I've worked on all this time. :-\
