I think you should cancel your order. And also delete your profile on this forum.

Well. Nice to see some big blatant warnings that the game has become no longer fun in any way since random deathclaws can clean you out. I'm done it seems.

LMAOO....... no.. come on bethesda.. please now submit a update where we get to choose if we want to be attacked or not... thank you.

From my perspective, they shot themselves in the foot. Because they lost this player/lunch box purchaser.

Yeah... i haven't even seen them yet. But, to add a total party wipeout...with no reward... just to prove you can?

I find it amusing that people think their one purchase is enough to convince a dev to bend over backwards specifically for them.

The problem with the deathclaws is that the game removes health for EVERYONE IN THE SAME ROOM AS THE DEATHCLAWS... Instead of the game making the deathclaws roll an attack it just cheats and says "I AM RADIOACTIVE AND I WILL INJURE EVERYONE NEAR ME". For a game that is supposed to be linked to an RPG it has no RPG elements in it.

I put guys in power suits in the entrance and what happens... they just run back and forward and occasionally fire their guns but because the Deathclaws leave fast they might as well not be there. I make them follow the deathclaws only to see the deathclaws leave the second my power armour guys arrive.

So yeah... It should have the one deathclaw attacking one dweller and not everyone in the room... and give us something to stop them moving from room to room so fast. I have the vault door fully upgraded and they get through in a couple of swipes it seems.

So what do I do now? There is one phrase that comes to mind.... "THE ONLY WAY TO WIN IS NOT TO PLAY". Either that or let us build turret rooms.

I have 14 dwellers on my top two floors and they are repeatedly taking down the Deathclaws without dying. I have two permanent guards at the entrance (as you noted there is no time to get anyone up there because they break in so quickly). I have a fully staffed Nuclear reactor room right after the entrance with 6 dwellers in strength enhancing outfits (+4 and +5). I have one more fully staffed nuclear reactor right below the entrance on my second level (6 dwellers with +4 and +5 strength outfits). All dwellers are level 50. All dwellers are armed with weapons in the 15-20 range except for one in the top reactor room with a 21-24 weapon. All dwellers have max SPECIAL even without their outfits (all 10's). Deathclaws are no problem with that configuration and they are partially destroyed in each room with the last falling in the third room on the second level.

The most amusing is, i preordered x2 the pip-boy edition one for pc, one for xbox one, and a seperate copy for xbox 360.. that subtotals a 310 euros that i might aswell just cancel to see if they dont [censored] this game up too with thier "updates". 310 euros is alot of money to give and theres not manny people who support devs that way! like you for example.. lets just say you where to late pre ordering the pip-boy edition or just preordered a normal one for xbox 360. thats only 70 euros insteath of 310 what i gonna spend on it, not to mention i bought over 50 card packs.

+1 for you.. i'm completely agreed to that. but not only that. did they mention once that in a living fallout shelter once deathclaws broke into? all i ever heard was radroach infestations..... its just stupid cause all my vaulters are death ,except 2 plus 1 standing outside.... its redicilus. worst is you got no option to turn these attacks off. why would i want all these attacks? i rather just have fun trying to keep up with water and food supplys then have to deal with attacks and deaths, not to mention it costes alot to revive these players plus.... you Hardly earn caps in the game!

You need what is called a defense in depth to handle the deathclaws. A single hard point, while effective against raiders, is useless again deathclaws.

Chasing them is useless, just have your rooms near the top of the vault fully staffed. As for armor, I am about half way convinced that the only thing it does is improve stats. Most of the people on my top floor are wearing Wasteland Gear for the endurance boost (which increases their maximum health).

Deathclaws don't stay in a room long enough to kill any high level dwellers. Yes, they will shred a low level dweller, but from about the mid-twenties on up, if the room is fully staffed everyone will normally survive (for the size of my vault anyway). Since I reached 67 dwellers, I have suffered a half a dozen deathclaw attacks. I have not lost a dweller yet to them.

There is a quote from The Matrix that comes to mind with some of the folks complaining about Deathclaws ... "You believe you are special, that somehow the rules do not apply to you. Obviously, you are mistaken." ... I think a lot of people assumed that due to the simplicity of Fallout Shelter that it was a sandbox game with no strategy ... this was definitely not the case, as the impact (or lack of impact) to vaults has revealed ... now they probably should add a setting to turn the game into sandbox mode for people who just want to play without worrying about the strategy of play ... but until then, a good vault development strategy has avoided issues ... a bad strategy (or incomplete one) can now have devastating effects

We're continuing to make changes to the game and player feedback plays into that process. In the short term, I http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1531372-bethesda-your-update-has-failed/?p=24250036 that will ready help you avoid attacks if you're characters are equipped well enough to handle attacks.

So, deathjaws deathclaws now? Damn, makes me glad I've never updated my game, and after seeing this, I seriously doubt I ever will. I like the idea of a challenge, but this seems like it might go a bit far.

Oh, and OP, I get that you're angry, but ranting and raving in all caps isn't going to accomplish anything. It only makes you look bad, nothing more.

Yes! We need VII Turrets in front of the vault doors.

And we need them now: Deathclaws have completely taken over our Living Quarters, where they've established a Montessori nursery and become passive-aggressively condescending to the parents.
