New Android player here. This is like the 5th i have started a new game over cuz i mess up everytime.

i'm trying to do a "keep it in the family" vault. where a family specializes in each stat.

This time i want to give my starting dwellers the last name that they have the highest stat (example one dweller with a 3 or higher in Luck will have his last name changed to Luck). A dweller that does not a stat 3 or higher will have a short last name such as Lee, Hall, King, Hill etc... This is done so when i mate two people that don't have a high stat i am able to fit both parent's last names into the child's last name so that i know what family the child came from.

Legendary Dwellers i name after a celebrity such as a male Brad Pitt.

so now my question is how far down the tree can i mate from the same family?

like for example if i have 2 dwellers with high Strength their son is called Bob Strength and their Daughter doesn't have a high Strength and has standard stats so i name her Lisa King and then she has a child with a son from the Luck Family. well you get the picture so you after a few more mixing and matching we have a child that is related to Lisa King and another that is related to Bob Strength (i'm talking like 3rd cousins Great Great Great Grandmother's Sister) something like that.

i ask because i want to have families that specialize so i end up with 7 families (one for each stat) but if their child does not have the family stat then he gets his own last name so after a while it can get confusing knowing what family that child came from.
