I quit the game for like really 30 sec and all my resources are below the line. What happened, are my dwellers every time enjoying a rave in my Vault 148 when I quit the game to take a sh*t. I mean if I play the game for 2 minutes to recover my resources, I get Deathclaws who take my resources under the line and injure all my dweller who doesn't produce enough resources. And if I quit the game for 1 minutes to avoid the deathclaws, all my resources are gone. So what am I supposed to do ? Never sleep, praying for no deathclaw or quit and being unable to do something for 30 minutes ?

Not sure what you mean by "quitting the game", but hitting HOME on your phone will not stop stuff from happening. To fully stop these things from happening you have to actually EXIT the game with the Pip boy in the bottom right of the screen, go to main menu then hit "back" on your phone and have it ask if you want to EXIT fallout shelter. Only then will simulation of your resources and invasions be stopped. No one can die while you are away if you do this (except your wasteland explorers).

The only things that occur if you do this are....

1. Explorers in the wasteland will continue on (better check on them every so often.)


2. Dwellers will level up S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats in rooms that do so.


3. Pregnancy will Progress.


4. Kids will age.


5. Your daily report timer will continue to tick on.

I had a friend at work that told me he almost quit playing completely because he didn't realize he had to quit the game instead of just home buttoning and all his dwellers were dying when he went to work and couldn't check on them for 8 hours. They didn't explain this very well anywhere in the game...

Oh I understand a little bit more, but needing to have to get the loading everytime is annoying but it's worth than being attacked and having nothing left !
