Close the game and set an alarm to wake you up when the future has happened. I've tried it, and it works. No bugs.

Sorry. Just keep seeing people complaining that cheating has caused them more trouble than it saved. Where I'm from that's called being bad at cheating

I'd be surprised if this isn't "fixed" in the next update.
