Been messing with the game and a few vaults already trying to get the hang of things for the past 48 hours on this highly addictive game. I am curious if selective breeding is possible or do the offspring just randomly generate stats? Like if I have 2 awesome card won dwellers, will they produce better offspring then two shlubby nothings (which are 90% of my dwellers)?

No. Your offspring will have a chance at better stats at whatever the highest average stat is of the parents, but even then it's seemingly random, and they will never exceed 12 statpoints. Something that infuriates me.

Nope. I had Moira brown and Mr Burke breed with eachother and both of them are like level 40+ with stats of 6 and higher in everything, Moira with a 9 charisma and Burke with a 9 intelligence and they created a standard baby.


I also had burke impregnate 10 chicks and they were all normal.

Bummer. Hopefully they add a mechanic like that in a future update, because that would totally be a vault tech thing to do. That's awesome that you got Moira Brown and Mr. Burke! I haven't seen any Major NPC names yet.
