Has anyone had a rare or better dweller show up as a result of hearing the radio? I'm wondering if the only way to get them is through lunchboxes.

i think the only way is through lunchboxes

it doesnt really matter because you reach a point where you can train them past that level

Having them start with higher stats and a piece of rare+ equipment is quite nice though.

I recall reading somewhere that the radiostation gives you a chance at rare dwellers. However I have not seen this happen myself, and given that radiostations seem to attract unwanted attention more, I found it to not be worth the risk.

Has anyone received a legendary dweller from the radio station? I'm still curious about this.


I understand that any dweller can achieve max stats and level, but I like the idea of completing the weapon, armor, and dweller lists.

I′m still waiting. And i′m playing since day one.

I've built numerous stations, so I'm all but guaranteed to get multiple dwellers daily, and nothing here either. I'd be disappointed if the only way to get legendary dwellers is through lunchboxes.

Been a week playing, already had 4 ordinary dweller. No rare or legendary knocking on the vault door.... I think lunchboxes are the only way the legendary or rare dweller will knock

It has been speculated that the radio station might produce rare or legendary dwellers. So far none have been reported. So if it can happen, the odds are very low. Probably similar to your odds of pulling a MIRV out of the Broadcast Tower.

Odd are probable the same as getting a Mr Handy from a box, leading to people to BUy them....ooow you see that!

Concerning the Mr. Handy lunchbox issue, i actually had one in my.. 15. Box or sth. Like that.

Playing for about a week now. No Legendary/rare dwellers, tho.

All dwellers coming from wasteland have been low stat ones so far, now I took my people out from the radio room as I don't want to increase my population. I also don't get it how born dwellers should inherit stats from their parents, I tried to train stats of couple of dwellers better and then put them together but their baby was just the same kind of standard low stat dweller.
