Title says it all. Tried Restarting the app and my phone numerous times. Uninstalling results in a permanent loss of information. Furthermore It appears the bug is serious and results in a permanent loss of information and progress including in-app purchases. Personally, it's caused me great grief and has soured my experience playing the game. Could you ensure the issue is resolved swiftly?

From all that I've seen around these issues your only recourse is to seek a refund, either from Bethesda, or from Apple/Google... But I speak at no official capacity, I'm trying to have a similar issue looked at myself, and am commenting to follow on any relevant threads

I am having this same problem. Love this game but so frustrating. Only way I found to fix it is to uninstall then reinstall. And then lose all my progress.

I've had this same issue since early July. I was playing the game while on a flight and it crashed mid game. Tried multiple times to reopen the game but I was unable to. I even spent money on some lunch boxes, which I regret doing. Thought the most resent update would solve this issue but it hasn't. I just find it odd that this is happening. I have an iPhone 5 with the most recent iOS update and still the game crashes right after opening it. I also find it odd that they have yet to comment on this or even try to fix it.

I'm also having the same issue. I open the app, the title screen appears, and then immediately after that I'm kicked back to my phone's home screen. Currently running iOS 8.4 on an iPhone 6. Installed the game back in June, have had no problems until the update came... When it did, I thought that I would start a new vault to see if the game played differently. The game WAS different! Much slower to get anywhere with achievements seeming much more metered and slow to obtain. Seemed like lunch boxes were less rewarding as well, with 2 out of 3 giving 500 caps on the last card rather than a rare item. Well, I continued on playing and right when I got to 35 dwellers BOOM. This bug happens. I haven't been able to play for 2 weeks. I didn't want to uninstall and reinstall, because I liked how my new game was going, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be fixed. I guess I'm starting over...

If you want to let me know whether you're playing on Android or iPhone I'll be happy to move this thread to the correct support sub-forum where it'll be more likely to be noticed, or I can see if others have already posted about your issue.

I began having the same issue this morning. Android 5.0. I launch the game and a few seconds into loading, even before selecting my vault, the game kicks me back to my phone desktop. I have a good chunk of money invested, so I'd like this fixed asap.

I had this problem on my android. So i checked program properties and saw that it is saved on phone memory AND SD card. So I moved FalloutVault to phone memory only. And that somehow did the trick.Game runs normally. Reply if it works for you guys.

I started having the same issue last night. It is really frustrating. I don't even care about a refund I just want to play without losing my data

Same thing happening for me. On iPad mini 2, played fine since day one. Today Sept 4, when I try to open my vault, it goes through the motions, I hear the Mr Handy collecting a room sound and crash. It was working fine last night.

Edit - solution was to go into airplane mode. Loaded fine then. Perhaps something with the sale going on notice that pops up?

Ok, update: uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Started new vault, and all was well. Today, while on a flight to Chicago (and hence, airplane mode), game started doing the same thing! iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1, and this time, the game was only functional for less than a week. And again, it seemed to crash right when I got around 26 dwellers or so. This svcks. Bethesda needs to either roll back the update, or fix the problem! What's the point of a game that you can't play?

I have the same problem. It crashed during a game on my android phone. And yesterday on my android tablet. I have rebooted both devices. When I emailed support I got the standard reply off see our forum. I don't want to lose the progress I have made.

Hey all,

I just posted in the support forum about a trick I did to get my game to start working on my iPad after getting the bug where the game crashes soon after clicking on your vault to open. The fix doesn't seem very logical, but it worked for me. Hopefully it works for someone else too in this situation.

154 dwellers and same issue. Submitted a ticket, would prefer a fix but if no fix soon, a refund to your recent "sales" would be great. Android, Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition.

I completely agree. Im having the same problem. I started playing not long ago and I just gave some money away cause I found it a fun game. But the game is unplayable like this!! We need an answer or a refund for recent sales. iOS 8.4.1, mini iPad.

people has been posting game breaking bugs since the last update (over a mont ago). There has been a complete silence from bethestda. We expect this to continue indefinitely. Meanwhile the only thing we can do is to ask for refunds if you wasted money in this app.
