Overall Happiness 100% impossible?

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 7:19 am

I started playing this game roughly 3 days ago, and after finally getting a good grip on how to manage my vault, I set myself a new goal in achieving 100% Happiness for everyone.

So after a few hours of hoping for successful rushes and a lot of baby-making, I finally managed to get all my vault dwellers to 100%. To my surprise though, the overall happiness was still "only" at 99%. I double checked if everybody was signed to a room and made sure that nobody was wandering the Wasteland, yet still no change in overall Happiness.

After searching the web for an answer, I found a couple of people having the same issue. Unfortunately for me, most of the threads had no replies, or just a dumb answer.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and can confirm that this is a bug, or is there a different reason?

Not that this is a huge or game breaking issue, i'm just curious to see if this was intended.

PS: Someone mentioned that this may be caused by the radio studio. I shut down my studio, had to regain a lot of happiness but still it's stuck at 99%.

If you were living underground in a vault, would you be 100% happy?

I sure wouldn't.

But I get it, and I've encountered this too. My only guess is that there is a measure beyond what is shown, say like to the .1 percentile and when it hits .5 it rounds up. Still not 100% overall...i dont know.

The last percent...

is you.

Probably designed that way or we only see the integer precision of the value on individual dweller statuses.
