Please Make CollectingLevelUp Automatic

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 12:48 pm

It's extremely annoying having to click on your production rooms and characters every 2 minutes to collect resources or level up. Especially when you have 100+ people and 40+ production rooms. Would make life a lot easier if production rooms were automatically collected and level ups.

Find some Mr. Handys to help with your collecting woes.

I think a majority of resource oriented games on mobile require the players involvement concerning this, so I'm not sure why I sense some surprise when people have to do something to get anything.

Exactly. This is a mobile game. The whole objective is to let players interact by touch. If everything is automated, the game would be boring indeed.

Well, as of the current state, FoShelter is essentially a "resource collection" game (be either resources, skill points, levels or whatever), so clicking it's expected.

If it's improved and more things added, maybe they could automate several of those "boring" aspects, focusing on construction, more "overseering", better exploring, trading (wastes have sooo potential it's a shame you just send someone and wait for a week for them to return...), but as of the current version, autogathering would make the game an "ant colony" where you only watch.

True enough. I bought a crate of Mr. Handys for a decimated vault during the Labor Day sale. He's both a blessing and a curse. While it's nice to have him autogather resources as I leisurely peruse my explorers' logs, he seriously gets in the way during disasters when I just want him to get the heck out of the room and quit taking punches. At least put him in the back of the fight so I can stimpak my dwellers!

"Find some Mr. Handys to help with your collecting woes.?"

Why hadn't I thought of that...? Gee... here I was collecting resources like a schmuck when all I had to do was just find some Mr Handys? I have 6 games running (yes I'm that addicted) which all have edging on 200 dwellers and been playing for quite some time now... none of them have had a Mr Handy show up and I'm not spending real money on a game that if the file corrupts I lose my purchase. :)

You can get them via free lunchboxes. I got 2 for free.

Sarcastic responses help no one. Its even more true for the person that wrote it.

No I disagree... that sarcastic response amused me so surely therefore it helped me? :)

Anyhow... my point being that you obviously can't just "find" My Handys it's all pure chance, and obviously my luck isn't that good as I haven't found one, and neither has my wife and daughter who are both also playing a heap of this game. Out of my friends that I know are also playing this game, only one has a Mr Handy and she got it in a lunchbox that she bought.

My apologies if I offended or upset you Juntampb, I am quite unwell at the moment and obviously in one of those stirring moods.

And this is honestly an apology, not sarcasm again.

No worries, DimitriBorodinskii. I'm not one to look for reasons to be offended. Besides, your final post about being amused did make sense. 'Tis be a game, after all.

Hope you feel better soon!
