Max Dwellers reached but...

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 3:05 pm

So... I have the max dwellers in my vault but two of my dwellers are pregnant and I also have two just chilling outside my vault, I was wondering if there is anyway to kill the pregnant dwellers because they are essentially useless, just run out of rooms when something bad is happening and will stay that way, and the dwellers that are outside are going to get really bad sunburn and I want them to come in out of the heat, so is Bethesda going to be increasing maximum dwellers or can someone help me kill the pregnant dwellers please, I don't want to seem heartless but I don't want to get rid of any other dwellers because they are useful, the two pregnant ones are lvl1 and have no increased special. Please help!

unless Bethesda will raise the maximum number of dwellers(which will be great) the only solution u have is to send in the wasteland two dwellers( i sugest the lowest level u have), with no outfit and weapon and let them die ; after that the pregnant ones will give birth. i had to do this myself for a pregnant one and for other dellers which i earned from lunchboxes and they were higher in abilities and level in comparasion with some i had in the vault.

Actually, there is one more step that is needed after they die. You have to click on the "Remove" button.

Of course, Murphy's Law may kick in and when you check on them they may have six or seven Legendary items. Then you get to decide whether you want the items more than the baby. :P

It should be noted that Murphy's Law applies to itself. So if you send a dweller out with the stated purpose of dying in hopes that it will collect some much needed gear, that dweller will die a slow and painful death for naught.

What I did was killed off a dweller in the wasteland to get my number down to 199. Then each time it hits 200, the unlucky newcomer is sent out into the wastes to perish

My vault has had FOUR babies since 200, and none were pregnant prior to the max. So something is up. I haven't counted my dwellers, but I should be at 204. I do have one pregnant woman that won't pop. I have five outside due to cards.

You are going to have to kill some off in order to bring your new dwellers in, chuck some lvl1's out with no weapon or stimpack etc and they will die very quickly that's what I had to do.

Wasteland takes too long, and dead dwellers have 0% happiness just lying there on the ground until you notice them or 24 hours, whichever c

Build yourself a Rush Room of Death: an elevator leading down *two* levels to a maxed-out production room with no adjacent rooms. Drop the unarmed, naked dwellers in there and rush 'til the molerats show up and kill them. Promptly remove the dweller so your vault happiness pops back up.

Dwellers should die of old age, then there would be some kind of sense to make new ones and I wouldn't have to kill them on purpose.
