Frustration with new features, and being left out of others

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing fallout shelter. I downloaded it on my Samsung Galaxy s5. I waited with excitement and anticipation for the August Rollout. Today I saw there was an update with new features and so I updated the game. I was excited until I learned I am now limited on how many dwellers I can send out into the wastes. I do not see the point in limiting the amount of dwellers I can send off, and it limits the enjoyability for me. I then went online because I did not realize this was part of the update and thought it might be a glitch, no it was Bethesda being sneaky about limiting an existing feature for reasons thus far undefined. Online I saw that there was a legendary character and 5 free lunch boxes...for iOS players only, with no mention of a potential release for android users.

I enjoy the game insofar as it is free, but limiting goodies to iOS is frustrating, it sends the message that android and other users don't matter.

Sneaking a limit onto an existing feature and not bothering to explain why is frustrating, and if not resolved or explain very soon will cause me to walk away from the game. If I had paid anything for the game, I would be furious. I never pay for mobile games though, because there's such a high potential for developers "fixing" a game in a way that just makes it utterly unenjoyable. I thought this game might have been the exception, but you've only proven the rule.

I created an account just to share how unimpressed I am by this latest update, and by being forced to nerf my game because I was unaware of your hidden limit, and being left in the dust because I'm not on your favorite phone.

I too noticed that the explorer limit was not mentioned in the update on iOS and unfortunately I updated. Can't play my vault now as I have more than 10 dwellers out in the wasteland right now and when I click one of the returned dwellers I lose the UI and have to kill the process in iOS. This is the worst move I've seen by a game dev in a long time. Very sneaky and really just a game ruining change. Everyone should be sure to review the game on whatever format they have been playing. Maybe a enough 1 star reviews will have them rethinking this.
