I'm really enjoying this game.

This game is a lot of fun to play on my iPad, when I'm not in the mood for playing games on the PC or consoles. Thank you for creating it.

I've never played the Fallout games before (hides), but this game is actually making me want to play them. I heard that something called the 'Fallout Anthology' was released for the PC, is it possible that we'll get this for the Xbox One. They have the Xbox 360 being emulated on the One now, and I'd buy all those games, including Fallout 4 if this became possible. Heck, you should even add the former as a bonus for buying the latter, similar to what Microsoft is doing with Gears of War.

Cheers.

Glad that you enjoyed the game. The first 2 fallouts were originally by interplay and they can feel quite dated by today's standards. I'd recommend grabbing a copy of fallout 3.

That said the fallout series are open world rpgs, not strategy management (other the fallout tactics).

That's fine. I've put many, many hours into games like Mass Effect, KotOr, and SWTOR. Should I also try to get my hands on New Vegas? I've heard good things about this game. However, if Fallout 3 is all I need to understand Fallout 4 I'm fine with that.

p.s. How do I create a forum signature? I searched my options but it wasn't there. Do I need to hit a certain forum rank first?

New Vegas is not done by Bethesda. It's by Obsidian and some people swear that it is alot better then Fallout 3.

Personally, ive encountered nothing but random crashes to desktops and a whole lot of other bugs. And ive not added any mods. Surprisingly I never had any issues with Fallout 3.

Given it around 30 hours before I finally gave up. Tried all sorts of solutions to no avail. New Vegas is unplayable for me. Your luck might be better.

No, you probably won't need to play Fallout 3 in order to enjoy FO4. Bethesda RPGs stand alone. There might be little snippets referencing to earlier games but nothing too important.

Fallout is known for its tragi-comic mix of Fifties kitsch and post-apocalyptic sadness, with silliness and tough decisions mixed together. If you are only going to play one game, New Vegas gives the best feel of the old games, especially in hardcoe mode, though Fallout 3 is fine too. #3 is set in Washington DC -- that might influence you.

I played New Vegas on the 360 within the last year and it was very stable. I got the edition with all the DLC.
