Should I leave dwellers in the wasteland to die before recal

So basicallly Ive been keeping a close eye on my exploring dwellers But recently Ive just not had the time.


Once I started thinking about it, Do you really need to Keep and eye on them, Cant you just leave them to die then revive/recall them?


I say this because I run a team of 6(Maxed specs lvl50s, 6 More in training) explorers, one of which I just left to die, She had most of her health but no stimps so why not. Insted of recalling she went on to collect legendary and other rare items, When she died I paid the 1000caps fee(Which is nothing compared to the thousands of caps she found) and brought her home.


Is there a problem with doing it this way? Seems the best way to do it, Who knows what they could of picked up if you recalled early to save them a easily revivable death.

Nope, although with the update, they'll come home when they hit the 100 item limit. Before they would carry on, but you wouldn't get any of the goodies they found.



Unless you're playing in Survivor, in which case they die and you loose everything.

Dead explorers are 0% happy, which will weigh on overall vault happiness. Besides if you forget about them for 24 hours, *poof* the grim reaper disappears them.

Ah, that explains something that happened once, I did wonder where one of my dwellers went. They shouldn't disappear automatically like that, just because you couldn't play the game for 24hrs.


I think sometimes that game developers forget that not everyone has the time to play their game 3-4 times a day.
