Is it me or has the constant crashing of the game gotten even worse. I can't even go 60 seconds into the game without the app crashing.

If I have to delete the app and reinstall (iOS) how do you pull the latest game save from the cloud?

Not just you. The app crashes now before the daily bonus screen shows up so I get about 5 seconds of my vault then its gone.

Memory pressure is still a huge problem, but the current crashes are new.

As of today I log in, my vault pops up and within 3 seconds it crashes. Before today I would get a good minute before it crashed.


You have to go to vault list and check that your current vault is saved to your cloud. Then you can reinstall the app and apparently it pops up on the vault list. (I haven't done this yet because my iOS won't connect to the cloud through the game.)

Yeah, using the cloud was an issue for me. It wasn't showing up in my cloud settings so I didn't want to risk losing everything.

I am having the same problem. I did a reboot to the IPad and it still won't work. I am very angry that I am missing out on the Halloween specials. I need someone to direct me into fixing the issue. And soon. It seems that I can create a new vault, I just can't access my current vault. I paid real cash. I want to play.

I'm having the same issue. I've restarted my iPad, did a soft reset on it, deleted and reinstalled the app and it still crashes.


To save your game you have to go to 'Vault List' and check the 'cloud' box. if you delete and reinstall the app and want to bring your saved game back you click on 'Vault List' and check the 'cloud' box where your saved game was. You can then load it back.

Having the same issue 5 seconds into the game after my vault is loaded it crashes, also paid money for lunch boxes and Mr. Handy. I also uninstalled the app then reinstalled, still no luck

This is also my issue. I've had this vault since late July and have spent money on lunch boxes and mr handy. I've updated iOS, deleted the app TWICE, and reloaded my vault from the cloud to no avail.

Same here spent tons of time on this darn game and now it give me about three seconds before it crashes to my home screen

Hey guys! Here's what I did to make it work! I ended up starting a new vault in another slot, and I skipped the tutorial and played till I had about 14 dwellers. Then I exited to the menu, and chose my original vault and it has worked since. I hope that wasn't just a fluke for me but works for someone else, too!

Unbelievable! That actually worked I started a new game and only had about seven dwellers switch back to my old game and it works now. It is lagging like it wants to freeze but at least it is working for the time being!

I was encountering the same issue. Creating a new game and switching back to the one that crashes works. My guess is that starting the game with a new game uses less memory and caches the game without a large amount of content. Then switching to the other game you are only loading the content. Just my guess but the important thing is confirming that this workaround allows you to load the saved game.
