Ouch! Gotta keep an eye on those explorers. Send your Legendary Emma out on short trips for weapons and outfits.

If you have enough CAPS, I'd move the storage room two levels below the bottom level of your vault, surrounded by dirt. No need to staff or defend it, fires and etc simply run their course on that isolated level.
