Ok so what happened to raider and deathclaw attacks?

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2016 8:45 am

They've all but stopped. I used to get attacked every 5 minutes or so if I left the game open and running but now I rarely ever get attacked. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but I'm using the attacks to quickly kill off unwanted dwellers by putting them in the door room with no weapons at level 1. It *was* a faster option then sending them into the wastes with no supplies to die. Does having dwellers in the door room reduce attack frequency? I have a lot of dwellers on coffee break. Does that somehow effect attack frequency?

The Deathclaws are coming much less frequent. But they are stealing more power.

It is now hard to fulfil those objectives regarding Deathclaws, I have to wait to skip them. Not bad for a vault almost dormant.

Enough people clamored about Deathclaws ruining the game that Bethesda tweaked the odds.

As to your summoning Deathclaws, using the vault entrance as a kill room puts your whole vault at risk, especially in survival mode vaults. Instead, drop an elevator shaft down two levels and put a fully upgraded production room there surrounded by dirt. Have the unarmed dweller rush the room until molerats show up to do your dirty work.

First time I skipped a lunchbox objective. Needed to survive 7 deathclaw attacks.

It takes too long to complete. And I am running 6 radio stations and my door is opened regularly :/

And the objective sometimes fails to update, which means its more like survive 10 dc attacks.

Personally, I am glad to that they don't happen as often. Even though I don't have to worry about anyone dying from them, they are still a pain in the butt.

I'm, GLAD they cut them back. Before the cutback, those stupid deathclaws made the game almost unplayable.
As for getting rid of people, how about being more careful about keeping couples out of the bedrooms?
