Question About Radio Studios

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 11:33 pm

I'm still developing my Vault and have yet to reach the 200 dweller mark. Yes I know I'm slow; I've redesigned the whole thing twice now. Knowing that the Radio Studio attracted Deathclaws I removed it from my previous design. Since the update reduces their chances slightly, and a need to bring in some more genetic diversity, I've rebuilt the studio.

My question is; once I hit 200 dwellers will the Radio Room continue to operate?

Obviously it's primary function will be redundant, but I kind of like the idea of having a vault with every type of room, and that 1% happiness boost is nice enough.

No, the people in there just stop working. You can reallocate them to other rooms, OR, send one of your most weak dwellers to wander in the wasteland without any gear. Whey they die, you'll have more room in your vault, and the radio studio can work again.

Thank you for the advice. I'll probably just scrap the room for more storage space once I hit 200 dwellers as I'm already rotating my older, weaker dwellers for new ones trained from Level 1 at Max SPECIAL and Sturdy Wasteland Gear.

Wrong. They do wander around and "don't work" but they do maintain happiness level. My end game vault is at a steady 100% and i havent collected my radio rooms in days but if i take those people out it drops to 80% quickly and does not recover til i repopulate radio rooms.
