Need an "end game". Allow possibility of finding leg

Once you have built all rooms, levelled/SPECIALed up the majority of your dwellers, and equipped them all with rare equipment, what is the point of continuing to play? I think there should be a chance to find legendary equipment (from wasteland) and dwellers (from radio), even if it is just a slight possibility.

As it is, I have virtually nothing left to play for except ridiculous end game objectives (see other forum thread on this). I understand the revenue that purchasing lunchboxes must bring in. And I'm OK with that. But it can't *just* be about buying lunchboxes. Otherwise why play? Give players a reason to send their level 50 dwellers with max stats out to the wasteland! I think the prospect of finding legendary stuff would keep more players playing and therefore increase the chance that some will buy lunchboxes. As it is, there is little point in sending dwellers with good rare gear to the wasteland as you know that you cannot possibly find better gear.

Bethesda, please consider this for an upcoming patch.

I fully agree! Without the ability to find legendary items the game has ended and feels incomplete!

Another thing which has not been mentioned regarding completing objectives to obtain lunchboxes is the addition of mr gutsy and pet boxes which have reduced the number of available lunchboxes obtained via objectives. This is another money making scheme, lol

Bethesda like you buy the lunchboxes with real money. That's the only way to get legendaries, as you cannot get much lunchboxes from the game.

I totally agree with this. I've got one of my vaults up to around 140 dwellers on survival and I'm really not bothered about continuing, because what is the point? You rank them up and send them out, but they have zero chance of finding any legendary stuff, only rare.

Bethesda, if you think about this, what would you rather people do, get to my position and then lose interest or keep going and buy the occasional lunchbox every now and again?

Either that or when you reach a certain population and average dweller rating either make it so that any lunchbox earnt contains a legendary or enable the explorers to occasionally find a legendary and force them to return to the vault at that point.

Bit let's be clear about this, I am and certainly most people won't waste good money buying lunchboxes that deliver crap cards. When you've got $999999, 500 caps is useless and frankly an insult if you've paid for the lunchbox. This is the main reason I don't but any more boxes.

The kicker is that originally you could get legendaries in the wasteland, but they patched it out in version 1.2 if memory serves. Wasteland exploration, and to some extent the whole game, really does seem pointless now.

My feeling is Bethesda is cheating on us. They push us to buy their lunchboxes.

Before the October update, I am missing 10 outfits and 3 weapons. It is two and a half months from now and I have no progress. The lunchboxes win do not give me any useful legendaries.

I should have all the legendaries by now if they were not removed from the wasteland.

No way I will spend real money when those boxes were filled with craps like 500 caps.

Amen this sh!t. I cba with the game for ages now, I have no space left to build, my caps are maxed and my storage full of blue junk ~ There is no point on keep sending people out to explore since they will never bring me any upgrades and most objectives are just insane and a waste of time considering that most lunchboxes reward you with 500caps.

I understand that they want to make money out of this, but this is just pushing people into using save editors to avoid wasting money on a broken game =/

Without the possibility of getting legendaries from the wasteland there really isn't any reason to continue to play or purchase lunchboxes - if they put the legendaries back they would get more money from those of us that are at the end of the game but still trying to collect - I'm on my third maxed out vault and quite frankly see no reason to spend money with the existing set up - give us an incentive to keep spending money.
