Overlapping defenders

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2016 5:03 am

Hello and good day.

I have a little issue when defending a room.

For example, in large rooms (3 together) when an accident occurs sometimes (I mean many times) defenders in this room stand on top of each other. Even if you enlarge your screen and take a look from upper angle, you can only see a small little head which is even blocked by HP bars of other survivors in this room. I've lost countless survivors which I swore to protect in my vault because of that: either I didn't see them at all having low HP or I just couldn't click on them (please, forgive me my big manly fingers). Making them spread out more and not standing on each other in any newcoming updates would be so helpful!

Try tilting your phone side to side. That should let you see behind people in front, if you have that option turned on in the options. "camera tilt" or something like that.

Yeah - I have this problem as well - no tilting enlarging helps - they just stack up on top of each other so you can't get to the back ones to help them so they die.

Use Single room -

on 1st floor against deathclaws,

in the middle for fire, and

in the bottom exposed to dirts for mole rats.

Single rooms, and don't upgrade them. After training up your dwellers endurance, dress them all in wasteland gear, until they get to level 50. Your game will look terrible, but it will be much more playable.

Questionable game design, IMHO.

Upgrading rooms should not make incidents so much more difficult,

Larger rooms shouldn't mean that everyone in the room takes just as much damage from the same number of raiders/deathclaws.

Damage should be divided so that there are advantages to larger rooms.

There should be an alternative method of selecting dwellers, e.g. from the room list.

Endurance should equate to damage mitigation, not more hitpoints per level.

Yeah, this is another sticking point for me.

Why is it in a large 3x room with open space do the defenders feel the need to squish together to the point where you can't physically click and feed stimpaks to the dwellers in the back?

It's a large room... FAN OUT!

So stupid...
