Objective Paranoia?

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2016 1:51 pm

Is it just me, or does the game find ways to make some of the objectives harder to achieve? I'm not talking about the astronomical numbers that some of the challenges have (collect 12,514 items in the wasteland), I'm talking about event probabilities.

For instance...

- If you have a fire challenge, you get bombarded with mole rats and radroach attacks and have less started fires (and vice versa).

- If you have a mysterious stranger challenge, he becomes super scarce.

Now I'm not complaining, it's not a big deal to me either way. I still get my challenges done. I just want to know if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. Or am I just being paranoid?

For event objectives, create a single default room, put two dwellers in it, and start spamming the rush on it. If that spot does not produce the events you need, then create another room. I can solve the event objctives rather quickly.

As far as the mysterious stranger, he really becomes hard to find when any objective regarding him appear, I just X them.
