Back to fallout 4 for a third character now since the latest patch came with a boat load of changes/fixes, also DLC news on the way too, which is exciting. But I wanted to ask you all what are some of your favourite armor/clothing combos besides power armor and ballistic weave? I'm struggling this time around on what to settle on with my vault dweller. I always went with the BoS Officer Uniform and sturdy combat armor as i thought it looked the best, and didn't make your character fat/bulky looking. Other then the vault suit, all under armors/clothing make you look like a tank, but not in a good way. Been trying the Road Leathers with just combat armor arms, and the rest as leather chest and legs. But now I am getting into the Sturdy Leather Armors, and the chest piece looks god awful. Hate that it provides a diaper/cup around your waist too. I like the way the light leather chest piece looks, so I guess I will just stick with the Wastelanders Chest Piece for now.

I'm hoping mods come to the consoles soon, or the new DLC will bring some new armors. Because the current selection we have is rather boring if you aren't a power armor or ballistic weave user. I just find them to be overkill.

What combos have you come across that you like?

Can the bomber jacket be worn as a chest piece? I feel like I've seen brotherhood guys wearing it over their jumpers. Other than that I like how dark leather/combat looks with the vault suit and medical goggles for a scifi-energy weapons build.


I guess it all depends on what kind of gear I think the character themselves would actually want to wear given their style.

Bomber Jacket is an outfit that uses all your body slots and cannot have ballistic weave applied to it. I wish it could. IMO it's the best looking outfit in the game.
