still slowly working my way through xenosaga episode 1..

I am also playing a bit of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 on the side as well... if you haven't tried the "Horn of the Abyss" mod for HoMM3, you really should.. adds new units, spells, artifacts, a new playable faction, and entirely new map sizes (the largest map size now being well over 4 times the size of the largest in vanilla).. it truly is expansion quality..

Ah I'm Jelli, I'd give anything to play Xenosaga again :D.

Anyway I'm playing The Elder Scrolls: Online on both PC and PS4. I actually like the PS4 version better. I wish I can use my 360 controller in the PC version but something tells me I need the Steam version to do that.

The current PS2 emulator (PCSX2) works quite well, from what I've seen so far. Dark Cloud 2 worked perfectly, the Snowblind ARPGs (Baldur's Gate, Champions of Norrath) work but have fps issues (apparently, that engine does some crazy stuff with the PS2 hardware), and Steambot Chronicles ran fine once I changed a setting in the emulator. It even runs the discs if you have a CD drive. :D

(That said, I didn't play much Steambot - the mech controls are annoying with the offset XBox controller sticks, and I'd forgotten the camera controls can't be inverted. /sigh)

Inspired by the PS2 ARPGs I played, and disheartened by the amount of grinding in Dark Cloud 2/Rogue Galaxy, I've gone back to finish Dungeon Siege III on PC.

I am trying to play Fallout 4 but getting motion sickness. So right now I am playing on my laptop and playing a lot of Warlock 2 right now.

I am enjoying it so far.. one of those games I wish i hadn't let it sit in my backlog so long (bought it way back when it came out)..

sadly, due to low impulse control, i have always bought games faster than I could play them.. my PS2 backlog pile is probably the largest of my backlog piles (ehh.. maybe its my PC pile.. who knows lol)..

I will say this though, the PS2 had a great library of games, there is no denying it..

there was alot of grinding the Dark Cloud 2.. I had always got distracted by the "town crafting" and "golf" minigames and it really impeded my progress into the game :P..

Fallout 4, i bought it for the computer and was shocked how much medium low looks like the xbox1 version. Its got me debating about getting a new graphics card, but i can't justify the price when i can play the witcher 3 and fallout 4 with no hiccups and i can't appreciate the difference.

I also tried to get into bg2ee after completing baldur's gate ee. I just realized that i hate dnd2e. The combat is unintuitive, unfun, and almost asks you exploit the bad pathfinding (I also hate the ye' olde' english they use, but thats a matter of taste) Which is a shame because its classic bioware writing that i enjoy.

I was reminded that the Tales of Symphonia PC port was released not that long ago, which is freaking amazing since my GC disk 1 is unplayable and I don't have a PS3 for the other port. But it looks like the port is really really bad, so I might hold off on getting that. Even if Colette gets a Rita Mordio costume. (Would've been better on Genis but...)

Till then I still have Zestiria to finish I guess.

from what I have read, most of the hate on the PC port comes from the fact the battles are only 30FPS... granted, the GCN version was the only version where they were 60, as both the PS2 and PS3 versions (which is what the PC one is based off) were only 30.. and even then, back when only the GCN and PS2 versions were out, people usually argued that the PS2 was superior due to the additional content (more artes, extra boss battles, more side quests) even with the lower frame rate..

gotta remember though, this is PC gaming, people make a big stink if anything is lower than 60fps..

So basically it's just dashed expectations again? If it's just the battles then maybe I won't mind too much. Though I still probably won't get to it any time soon.

You should be able to use the 360 controller on the PC version without Steam. I could, though for some reason I had to run the game with the controller on, then restart it for it to actually work. (And make sure the (beta) game pad mode is on, of course)

Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate. Just completing all the stages I had unlocked but didn't bother completing from before I stopped playing it for a year.

Undertale. My friend (Known as Mugi on here) got it for me on steam. After one play-through I can see why so many love the game, but it's not as "legendary" as some make it out to be. Damn good it is though. I'm going for a true pacifist run now that I've gotten the normal ending. Thank Zod I can use my PS4 controller to play it since I svck at bullet hell type games. >_<

I'm gonna gift myself a Wii U for valentines day/My birthday so I can play Hyrule warriors!

Well, other than the traditional random games I usually play (like Team Fortress 2). I've been playing FNAF World honestly. (Free RPG is Free so why not?). Though, soon, I will hopefully be playing Undertale.

Yeah, I remember enjoying those parts. The bit that's bugging me in trying to replay it is "efficiently" leveling up weapons (level a Wrench to +5/maxed stats, disenchant it, merge it into your "main" weapon; repeat ad nauseum)
