Iwas just wondering if a "usable telescope" mod has ever been made? if not, how would you go about it?

And what would that telescope do?

I would like to have it mounted on a tower and be able to activate it to zoom in on the surrounding landscape. Sort of like using the zoom on your bow. Its just something that would an interesting project.
