During one of my battles with the Ebony Warrior, the Grand Healing spell healed him (as well as myself).

This only happened during the one battle. All other times I have battled him, Grand Healing hasn't healed him.

Does anyone know if this was a glitch, or if there's some combination of perks that enables this?

I like to battle him for as long as possible, because it's a great way to get Warrior skills to 100 and level Restoration, but it's a pain to have to constantly switch between Grand Healing and Heal Other (and Greater Ward, etc).

I've never fought the Ebony Warrior. Was he friendly (or at least non-hostile) then turned into an enemy? According to this page http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Grand_Healing_%28Skyrim%29there is a bug where sometimes someone who was not originally hostile may be healed as well.

The Ebony Warrior is friendly (in a way). When you reach LvL 81 he shows up to challenge you. he meets you on top of a mountain and you two duel he has a close resemblance to a player, he clearly seems to have Perk trees, He can also use potions, magic and shout like the dragon born. He wants to challenge Dovakiin because he is the only skill mached person around. His goal is to get to sovanguard, Then i asked my self why?? I did some research and found a GOD that resembled him a lot but the god had a sword arm and the Ebony Warrior does not. i am currently trying to contact BETHESDA about this strange character i hope this helps you!!
