I've always been a fan of magic.

Second favorite would be combat, specifically one-handed weapon and a shield.

Third would be stealth. I never cared for this style much. It is fun to do every now and then.


Weird thing is, I've lately found myself pulled more towards Warriors than Wizards lately. I can't figure out why.

Magic. Specifically Conjuration.

Nothing beats summoning two Dremora lords and watching Bandits get shish kebabed.

I've just never enjoyed magic outside of the Forgotten Realms (or my own books). Games like this one (well, all the TES games) not to mention MMOs like WoW and RIFT - I go with dual-wield one-handers, light armor, and just getting in the face of whatever's in my way. In this game, I use katanas from the Katana Crafting mod (the early version, as for a woman they fit the body closer and aren't over-large like the newer version) - steel until my smithing is high enough, then ebony. Those two weapons take me through the entire game - RH is enchanted with soul trap; LH with Frost Damage; I upgrade the enchants and tempers as my smithing skill improves.

My favorite has always been 2-handed sword. But my characters have different tastes. Very few of them use a 2-Handed sword.

Yeah. Which is why my girls are all dual-wielding katanas.....

Bow + Stealth + Illusion. No melee.

100% melee .....1x handed & shield

Bow and stealth. I let Lydia do the bashing

Stealth Everything. I enjoy skulking and will use whatever seems appropriate given the situation be it a form of melee, bow, or magic.

That said I favor the direct stealth assassination with either a dagger or 1h sword. I usually carry a small variety of daggers, swords, and a bow with various arrows, each with different enchants according to my whims. They're usually paired in a way so if in case I don't take care of them in the first strike I'll set them up to be weaker when we enter open combat.

I also really enjoy the long distance takedowns with my bow, but I'm horrible in open combat.

Magic is more a utility for me (Illusionist), unless I'm in Vampire Lord form. Then I devisate.

Two handed weapons are my favorite, axes if we're being specific. Dual wielding is fun too.

Most enjoyable one for me has to be Unarmed + Shield (smashing board). However, with the lack of upgrades for Unarmed, I chose the next best thing: One-Hand + Shield.

Dual wielding and 2-Handed weapons (most of my warriors know how to use both 1-handed and 2-handed weapons). Mostly dual, but sometimes just feel like taking Volendrung and smashing heads.

Two-handed with Light Armor and a bow for back-up. For aesthetics I love the look of the Dwarven Greatsword in Skyrim. Simple, long, and effective.

I use all types of fighting. Though I rarely use the shield. Mostly I use greatswords.


In my current playthrough (level 45) I've used sunhallowed Elven arrows with Auriel's Bow lots. There's something so cool to see a draugr or a few draugrs get pelted with light arrows and seeing them burn.

I need the variety. If my last character was a two-handed berserker, the next one would probably be a back-stabbing assassin, or a sneaky archer, or a conjurer.

I don't think Bow and Stealth-Bow should be split honestly as I use a bow 100% of the time whether stealth or not so may not be representative unless you combine the votes of both.

But either way, its a bow.

Bow of course, all my characters are archers,I love the "Better Bows" mod with the Recurved Mammoth Bow,smithed to Legendary status and Dragonbone arrows. Most deadly,even without any enchantments on it. Ultra long-range sniping is my main hobby in the game and as soon as I am able, I am going to video my archer at his/her best so all may see the skill in action!

Long blades/Blades in Morrowind and Obilvion .Since they ruined it in Skyrimby making it oo damn slow I mostly use Swords and shield.

I often begin combat with a stealth shot from a bow and then get close into meele.

I can't really pick a favourite, I do everything. The playstyle I'm using currently however is a lot of fun, I'm a heavy armour combat archer, running into battle with full Archery perks and Legolassing the battlefield

The stealth/bow combo is my favorite. There's just something really satisfying about strategically sniping enemies before they even get a chance to hurt me.
