Can′t play for years due to crashes! : V

Hi guys, so since a few years ago, i can't play Skyrim due to some pretty hard crashes im getting, wich really svcks since this is pretty much my favorite game ever. By this point i have tried it all, even a full clean uninstall, by manually deleting every skyrim entry in the register and any Skyrim related file from my pc and then playing without any mods, but i had no luck whatsoever. Its important to note that i had these kind of crashes a few times on other games, but not many, maybe 1 or 2 more.

On to the details, basically i can get 1 of 2 kind of crashes, they can happen at any moment, when i open menus or just walk around, there's nothing specific triggering them. At some point i always had them in the prison at Helgen when you can get the mage stuff from the cage, but somehow i fixed it past that, and now it just happen at any moment (normally when i already leave Helgen). The crashes just make everything freeze, normally the music keeps playing, the second kind of crash, first stops some sounds from playing a few seconds before the crash. When this happens i can sometimes wait it out, it can take around 5 minutes or more and sometimes the game keeps working (tough its prone to more crashes soon) and some other times it goes to a blue screen and reset. The crashes are very hard too, when they happen i almost never can alt+tab or ctrl+alt+supr out of them, if i insist too much sometimes it works and i can close the game, but most times i end up having to reset my computer.

So that's basically it, i don't know what could be causing it but im super eager to play the game again and just hate i always get these crashes as soon as i start to get into it, so PLEASE help!, i'll leave a dxdiag of my pc down here, thanks.

I would say stability issues maybe. Are you overclocking or overvolting anything? What other games do you play?

There u go, i couldn't find the spoiler tag before!

As for the overclocking, no, i just play it normally as always. I play all kind of other games, normally my pc can handle it at full graphics without trouble. Lately im playing Dragon's Dogma, GTA 4, Metal Gear 5, Rocket League, X-Com Enemy Unknown, and many more. The 2 games i remember that had crashes similar to these are DreamFall Chapters (tough only in a specific city) and for some reason i had them in the last chapter of the Telltale Game of Thrones games (tough not in any of the other chapters :S), so it seems to be something very specific, but have no idea what!

Currently im trying to play it with the graphic settings lowered, so far in high and medium the crashes still happen, im gonna try with low settings today...

What anti-virus are you using?

I would also recommend you make sure your system drivers are up-to-date. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4311#driver

You will have to make sure the correct revision is selected. There are 3. ALso make sure you choose win7 64-bit.

Ok, i tried the clean boot, but it didn't work :S i was using Avira antivirus, but since i never considered it could be the problem, i tried uninstalling it and running the game without any antivirus, but i still get the same crashes...

As for my drivers, yeah i always update them, and had these crashes many times with the drivers up to date, so im sure that's not the problem :S

I have been trying other things like EMBoost and the ultimate skyrim patch from the workshop, also i ran with the SKSE, but nothing is helping so far... im running out of ideas honestly, if i had to take a guess, i would say there's some specific problem with something on my hardware, but i have no way of knowing what...

Extract and Run it as admin. Under view make sure show lower pane is checked and under lower pane view make sure show dlls is checked.

Run skyrim and in the upper pane in PE single click the exe (TESV.exe I think). You should see a list of dlls in the lwoer pane.

Click the save icon (disk) and save to desktop. Copy and paste the contents to a spoiler window. It's just a textfile. Open it in notepad.

Yeah i just started a new game yesterday and still got the crashes. And yes, MGSV worked perfectly without any kind of freezes or crashes whatsoever. Fallout 4 didn't had any of those problems either =/

Follow this guide to make Skyrim vanilla again http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again or delete the whole Skyrim folder and verify-and-download again from Steam. Then try starting a new game again.

Install SKSE via installer create a shortcut on desktop and launch via that. Create the folder ..Skyrim\Data\SKSE\ and create a file called skse.ini and add the following lines:

[Memory]

DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=512

ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

Secondly add these lines to Skyrim.ini

With these settings on, the game will create a new folder at “...\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script”. (If you don’t see the Script folder, you may need to launch the game a second time) Your logs will appear inside that folder, named Papyrus.#.log with the # number going from 0 to 3. The 0 log is always the newest with older logs cycling through the increasing numbers.

Certainly give the SKSE stuff a shot. The PAPY stuff may not work if it is freezing or blue screening on you.

The PE list you posted looks good to me.

If the SKSE doesn't work I would also suggest you check the Event viewer. Look under WIndows folder and check the SYS and APP logs.

You can clear both logs first. RIght click and select clear log. Crash again and see if there are any clues.

You can also try to disable the Core Performance Boost in BIOS. It's located under the MB Intelligent Tweaker. Just set the Core Performance Boost to disabled.

Save and Exit. It won't hurt anything. Just for troubleshooting purposes. You can enable it again later if it still crashes.

Allright! i did the whole thing and then i created a new character and started the game "lucky" enough i got my crash like 1 minute after i gained control of the character, right when i was jumping into the inn trough the hole Alduin made at the tower... yay i guess.
